Dr. Chris Miller, FaithNet Coordinator, has extensive experience teaching at Catholic secondary schools, as well coordinating parish ministries for youth and young adults. Through this work, Chris has become a tireless advocate for the mental health needs of young people and a champion of the role faith communities can play in recovery and wellness. An avid learner, Chris has a diverse array of degrees, including a master’s degree in clinical psychology and a Doctorate in Education focusing research on the Kairos Retreat experience in Jesuit High Schools in the United States.
In his spare time, Chris serves on numerous committees, most notably the California State Mental Health Policy Workgroup; the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention’s Faith Communities Task Force; and the NAMI National FaithNet Steering Committee.
