Patti Andrade has been a lifelong resident of the Bay Area and is married with three children. She graduated from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA, with her Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Political Science.

Patti has always understood the importance of mental health. Still, it was not until a family member was diagnosed with a mental health disorder that she learned the difficulty of navigating the health care system and finding appropriate care and resources. It was a heart-wrenching and challenging experience, and one that no family should have to live through. Although it was an awful experience, her family member is doing much better today, and it has empowered her to share her family’s story.  As the new  FaithNet Program Coordinator for NAMI of Santa Clara County, she is excited to work with our faith communities to ensure that families have access to support, resources, and care for their loved ones.

Patti also serves as a Trustee for the Evergreen Elementary School District and as the Second Vice Chair for the Santa Clara County Behavioral Health Board.  Patti believes that mental health is as important as physical health, and no one should feel alone in their struggle.  There is hope!
