Jessica was born in Hong Kong, immigrated to the United States at the age of 7, and was raised in New York City. She met her husband in Australia and subsequently moved to Silicon Valley. Her extended family is multi-cultural, and she enjoys a range of cultures and cuisines.
In addition, she enjoys reading and Bollywood movies. After working for IBM for 25 years, she retired.
In 2017, she transitioned from a volunteer role at NAMI to a staff position. She also has a sassy dog named Mochi.
