Scott Whelton, CPA, joined Nami-Santa Clara County’s Board in March 2025 as Treasurer. The strategy, finance and accounting skills he provides to the organization come from his 30 year career at Ernst & Young where he currently is an Assurance Partner. Scott has served Santa Clara County for many years including having served on the Board of Directors of the Alum Rock Counselling Center and the San Jose Public Library Foundation.
Scott learned of NAMI through support provided to a close family member struggling with mental health challenges. Scott quickly recognized the sincere need for the services NAMI provides and was eager to contribute back to the organization.
