
Corporate Outreach Admin
Job Description:
The Corporate Outreach Admin will expand NAMI Santa Clara County’s relationships with corporations, businesses, and Human Resources departments. The position will promote workplace mental health education, coordinate NAMI at Work presentations, and encourage corporate involvement in NAMIWalks Silicon Valley and other NAMI-SCC initiatives.
The coordinator will serve as a primary point of contact for corporate partners and help businesses identify meaningful ways to support employee mental health and engage with NAMI-SCC.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Outreach and Relationship Building:

- Identify and contact corporations and businesses throughout Santa Clara County.
- Build and maintain relationships with Human Resources teams, employee resource groups, corporate wellness leaders, and community engagement staff.
- Introduce businesses to NAMI-SCC’s mission, programs, presentations, and partnership opportunities. Maintain regular communication and follow up with current and prospective corporate partners.
- Develop a contact list and outreach pipeline for corporate engagement.
- Add NAMI-SCC to EAP by working the HR Department.
- NAMI at Work Presentations
- Promote and coordinate NAMI at Work presentations for corporate employees.
- Deliver NAMI at Work presentations after completing the required training.
- Work with Human Resources departments to schedule presentations, identify employee needs, and coordinate logistics.
- Encourage companies to offer NAMI at Work presentations during Mental Health Awareness Month in May, as well as throughout the year.
- Share information about NAMI-SCC’s free programs and resources with employees.
NAMIWalks Silicon Valley:

- Encourage corporations to participate in NAMIWalks Silicon Valley by:
- Creating employee teams
- Recruiting walkers
- Promoting registration internally
- Sponsoring the event
- Hosting information or resource tables
- Providing volunteers
- Maintain communication with corporate teams before and after the Walk.
- Help strengthen long-term relationships with participating companies.
- Encourage corporations to participate in NAMIWalks Silicon Valley by:
Corporate Events and Representation:

- Represent NAMI-SCC at corporate wellness fairs, employee events, community benefit activities, and other workplace events as needed.
- Provide information and materials about NAMI-SCC programs and services.
- Coordinate tabling logistics and ensure appropriate follow-up with interested employees and corporate representatives.
- Attend occasional events outside regular business hours when needed.
- Outreach events and tabling at corporations.
Tracking and Reporting:

- Track corporate outreach contacts, meetings, presentations, events, referrals, and partnership outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of follow-up activities and relationship status.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Executive Director.
- Track metrics such as:
- Number of companies contacted
- Number of corporate meetings
- Number of NAMI at Work presentations
- Number of presentation attendees
- Number of corporate Walk teams and participants
- Sponsorship and partnership leads
Qualifications:

- Experience in corporate outreach, business development, community engagement, workplace wellness, nonprofit partnerships, or a related area.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence communicating with Human Resources professionals, executives, and employees.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage outreach contacts and multiple partnership opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and basic contact-tracking systems.
- Knowledge of mental health issues and NAMI programs preferred.
- Personal or family lived experience with mental health conditions is valued but not required.

Schedule and Compensation:

- 15 hours per week
- $25 per hour
- Flexible schedule, with availability for occasional corporate presentations and events outside regular office hours
- Local travel within Santa Clara County may be required
