Stanford University and local community organizations from East San Jose are teaming up to conduct a research study to see how an educational series on how to overcome everyday challenges helps the Latine community connect with the support to improve their access to services and resources! If they are eligible, they will receive compensation in the form of a gift card for participating (up to 4 times).
Key information:
- The clinical trial consists of 6 weekly small group educational sessions
- The sessions will be led by trained promotores de salud from local San Jose community organizations
- Participants will be randomly assigned into one of two groups
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be between the ages of 18 – 65 years old
- Have heritage or self-identify as Hispanic, Latino/a, or Latinx/e
- Live within one of the following zip codes: 95116, 95122 or 95127
