Stanford Psychiatry Center for Interdisciplinary Brain Sciences Research is looking for participants for two studies.
- PTSD Social support study
- PTSD Brain biomarker study
PTSD Social support study
We aim to understand the dynamics of PTSD support systems and improve resources for couples navigating PTSD together.
WE ARE RECRUITING COUPLES:
- one partner has a PTSD diagnosis, and the other does not; OR both partners do not have a PTSD diagnosis (controls)
- both partners are ages 18 – 55 years old
- both are right-handed
- relationship duration is > 6 moths
- you are cohabitating
PARTICIPATION MAY INCLUDE:
- neuropsychological assessments
- brain imaging with fNIRS (safe, non-invasive)
- $25 per hour

PTSD Brain biomarker study
WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING ADULTS:
- with PTSD diagnosis and healthy controls
- age 18 – 55 years old
- female sex
- right-handed
- no neurological conditions
PARTICIPATION MAY INCLUDE:
- neuropsychological assessments
- brain imaging with fNIRS (safe, non-invasive)
- $25 per hour (approx. 1.5 hours)
