The Temple University Collaborative on Community Inclusion is recruiting participants for a paid research study on community participation. It is studying factors that make community participation harder for people with mental illness.

We’re conducting a research study to better understand social anxiety and how virtual reality might help!
Stanford researchers are conducting the SPARCLE Study (Stratified Pharmacological Approaches for Regulating Circuit-Level Effects) to better understand why some depression treatments work for certain individuals but not others.

The South Bay arm of AbilityPath offers individuals with a mental illness a door into the working world. The nonprofit works with the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) and San Andreas Regional Center to provide employment programs for people with disabilities. This includes individuals with a mental health condition or intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Have you completed a NAMI program and want to give back? Join NAMI Santa Clara County as an Outreach Tabling Volunteer and help connect others to mental health support and hope. Volunteering position, 1 to 2 hours per month.

Our February 2026 General Meeting speaker is Angela Lucero Perry, South Bay Employment Services Manager at AbilityPath, a nonprofit that helps people with disabilities prepare for and obtain meaningful employment. AbilityPath serves individuals who qualify for funding through the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) or San Andreas Regional Center, requiring a diagnosed disability and a desire to work.
