A massive THANK YOU to El Camino Healthcare District for providing a generous grant of $100,000 to fund our  Peer Mentor Program

The El Camino Healthcare District (ECHD) is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the people in our community. ECHD was established by voter approval in 1956 to respond to the ever-growing health care needs of the community.

If you’re unfamiliar with Peer Mentor Program, our vision is to increase mental wellness and encourage independence for persons with a diagnosed mental health condition through the support of their peers.  The Community Peer Program(CPP) is the umbrella program that supports both Peer Connector Program and Peer Mentor Program that was created for those with a mental illness (Participant) who are motivated to establish stability, capacity to maintain wellness, and practice of self-care through mentorship from someone who has lived experience (Peer).
