University of Washington has developed Bolster – a mobile app designed to support caregivers of young adults with early psychosis. The Bolster app aims to support caregivers who are trying to help facilitate their loved one’s access to care, and thus aims to reduce duration of untreated illness.
At this stage, we are looking to recruit caregivers to young people (age 15-35) whose loved ones are have experienced symptoms of psychosis and not currently engaged in care to use digital tools to support their caregiving.
Participants in the study will either receive access to the Bolster mobile app or curated online resources, and all participants will complete surveys throughout a 12-week study period and receive $180.
To participate you must:
- Be a caregiver to a young person (15-35) experiencing early psychosis
- Own an iPhone.
Participation includes:
- Completing surveys and questionnaires,
- 12-week trial engagement,
- $180 Amazon Gift card compensation
