Join Stanford Neurodiversity Project research in developing culturally sensitive CBT therapy for Autistic Chinese Adolescent and Young Adults!
Selected participants will form a 20- people working group.
The group will have 10 meetings to discuss and generate knowledge that informs therapy adaption.
Together we hope to make CBT more helpful for Asian American individuals on the autism spectrum.
All qualified participant will receive $45 per meeting.
To participate you must be one of the following:
- an autistic individual between age 13 – 25 with Chinese culture background
- a family member of Chinese autistic adoscelent or young adult
- a mental health provider working with Chinese community
- a CBT therapist interested in cultural adaptation therapy.
Participation includes:
- Format: Focus group
- Duration: 10 meetings each 90 minutes
- Location: Online via Zoom
- $45 honoraria per meeting.
