Stanford University biomedical ethics researchers are conducting an NIMH-funded study on Ethics of Digital Mental Health Technology (for example, mental health apps and wearables). For part of this study, they would like to conduct 30-45 minute interviews (via Zoom or telephone) with users of digital mental health apps and other tools about their views on ethical issues, such as protection of their information or trust in the app. They are looking to recruit adults (18+ years) who have used or strongly considered using digital mental health, particularly mental health or mental wellness apps (for example, meditation/mindfulness, therapy apps, symptom tracking or informational mental health apps) for addressing potential mood disorders, like depression, or anxiety.
The interview will last about 30-45 minutes and can be conducted via telephone or virtual platform, such as Zoom. Participants will receive $50 as payment for their participation.
